Crafters' Exchange was started to help crafters have a way to clean out their "stash" in order to make room for new items needed for new projects.  I have a love for scrapbooking, and materials just seem to take over my crafting space.  I have lots of scrapbooking items that I will probably never use, and I was trying to figure out how to clean out my craft space and find a new home for all of my no-longer-needed items.  I thought, surely there are other crafters that have lots of things they would like to clean out of their craft space, but they just don't know the best way to go about finding a new home for their items.  So the idea was born to have a crafters' exchange, where crafters can sell the supplies and materials they no longer need in order to make room for new supplies and materials for new projects they wish to work on, and to help crafters find materials they need for their current projects at a more reasonable price than purchasing it new!

I love giving back to my community, so I thought this would be a great opportunity to raise funds for charities in my local area.  With each event, we select a local nonprofit organization that we donate a portion of our proceeds to, and consignors and shoppers are also able to make donations of wish list items that we deliver to the charity as wellCheck out the charities that we have contributed to from our past events under our "charity information" tab.
